I started Flowybooks because small businesses deserve the same proactive, involved accounting support as big companies.

My experience spans large companies. I worked on J.P. Morgan’s largest private equity client, several hedge funds at PineBridge Investments with over $3 billion in assets under management, and a sovereign wealth fund with $300 million in funding, which invested across a variety of private equity and venture capital investments.

In each of these companies, I made significant contributions by automating workflows and flagging accounting practices outside of applicable accounting standards. As CFO, I proactively flagged a significant foreign currency risk one year prior to the issue coming to fruition and then worked with the company to deleverage the position, saving tens of millions of dollars.

After speaking to several small businesses, I saw a need for accounting talent that serves these businesses in the same manner as I did for large companies. With automated tools, I can spend less time preparing the financials and more time going over them with you in person or remotely if that’s more convenient.

I work directly with you on bookkeeping as well as business and personal tax returns. We review the numbers together, discuss what needs attention, and plan the next steps. I am based in Parsippany, but I can meet you in New Jersey, New York, or remotely online.
